Description

1.   Introduction

SM5100 ZigBee DTU is simplified version of RTU, which can convert ZigBee communication data into standard ModBus RTU/TCP standard protocol, convenient for third-party user system integration. It contains following petroleum industry standard agreements,

  • Downlink data: communicate with the wellsite wireless digital transducer, available with PetroChina A11 protocols, Sinopec’s four standard protocols, and other customized third-party wireless instrument protocols;
  • Uplink data: communicate with the station control center server or PLC, inverter and other control equipment, available with Modbus RTU/TCP, IEC104 and other standard protocols.

This product and supporting standard digital transducer, widely used in industrial IoT measurement and control systems, applied in oilfield production data collection, environmental protection, agriculture, forestry, water affairs, coal mines, and petrochemicals.

2. Characteristic

1) Industrial Grade Design:

  • Using high-performance industrial-grade wireless module;
  • Using high-performance industrial-grade 32-bit microprocessor;
  • Low power design to minimize power consumption;
  • Metal housing with protection grade IP30. The metal housing and system is safely isolated, suitable for the application of industrial control field;
  • Wide power input (DC 5~24V);

2) Stable and reliable

  • External hardware monitoring WDT, CPU with built-in WDT, dual watchdog design to ensure system stability;
  • RS485 interface with built-in ESD protection;
  • Built-in reverse phase protection and ESD protection in the power interface;

3) Standard easy to use

  • Adopt industrial terminal interface, suitable for industrial field applications;
  • Standard RS485, RS232 and Ethernet connection (customized optional);
  • Intelligent data terminal, can enter data transmission state after power-on;
  • Provide powerful central management software to facilitate equipment management;
  • Easy to use, flexible, multiple working mode options;
  • Convenient system configuration and maintenance interface
  • Support serial port software upgrade and remote maintenance
  • Provide complete technical specifications and technical support

Interface Type Serial port 1 RS232 and 1 RS485 interface (built-in ESD protection), standard ModBus RTU protocol communication, can be connected to third-party PLC or data acquisition terminal and other equipment. The serial port parameters are as follows:

Data bits: 8 bits

Stop bit: 1 bit

Check: No check

Serial port rate: 19200 bits/s (can be set)
